We’ll work together and I’ll devise a programme of exercises of varying intensity to draw down your calorific reserves and trigger the Fat Burner effect.

Physical activity giving cardio-vascular exercise is the answer to feeling better. It strengthens your heart so you can once again climb stairs and slopes without getting out of breath.
Cardio exercise burns up excess calories to tone you up and slim you down.  Even better as the brain produces endorphins during exercise stress slips away and relaxed tiredness arrives.  You sleep much better.

 

Together we’ll work out which activities suit you best; brisk walking, running, cycling, swimming in the pool or the sea (with fins), rowing machine or cross trainer – we’ll concentrate on the ones you enjoy!

I’ll advise on diet and balanced meals so it’s easy to stay at your new lower weight.   I’ll help you avoid putting the weight back on which one can so easily do after a programme of diet and exercise – together we’ll keep you motivated and you’ll stay healthier, fitter and trimmer.

To make you firmer and stronger I’ll work out the exercises which suit you best and give the best results.

You could chose a traditional muscle strengthening regime or work on a body awerness basis.

Gentle gym, dynamic gym, posture gym; you decide!

I’ll ensure your exercises are the optimum to tone up and strengthen the areas you want completely safely for you and your back.

I also offer gym specifically to stretch and strengthen the back and the muscles in the abdomen.

 

POSTURE

Strengthening your muscles and improving your posture.

Too often in my job I meet people with bad backs and my goal is to analyse your posture and correct and problems so relieving back pain.  We’ll improve your back by easy natural exercises; stretching, breathing, contracting and strengthening tummy muscles.  These exercises bring added flexibility and suppleness improving your posture and reducing back ache so you feel and look better.   You’ll notice the improvements after just a few sessions!

 

PILATES

Is Pilates what you’re looking for?

The Pilates method helps the body to work efficiently taking account of one’s particular strengths and weaknesses.

 

Pilates is based on exercises to engage the lower abdominal muscles and the perineum and on breathing thus gently stretching the spinal column.   We’ll also work on areas you decide you want to tone up; abdomen, glutes, thighs, insides of thighs, triceps, back………..

 

Pilates is a “soft” gym where you listen to your body and learn to differentiate and exercise specific parts of your anatomy.

MASSAGES  and RELAXATION

Do you need a relaxed pause in your day?

Spare the time for a calm and restful massage;  feel relaxed and invigorated.

 

Rediscovering your breathing will bring you harmony and confidence to top up your reserve of “health capital”.

 

The goal of relaxation is to release physical tensions and slow down the cataract of thoughts in one’s head.  Stretch out on your carpet, close your eyes and dismiss both your physical and mental tension.
Without forcing STRETCHING helps untie knotted muscles, release joints and brings a feeling of bodily well-being.

 

I’m a qualified masseur and offer strong, medium or gentle muscle MASSAGES (Swedish and Californian) for both mental and physical relaxation.
